**About the role**

This newly created position reporting to the Workplace Relations & Systems Manager is responsible for providing support for Council's HR systems and working closely with the Workforce Planning, Design & Reporting Specialist in relation to regular and ad hoc reporting and analytics. The position also leads a team of three providing HR Help Desk advice and administration. A rare opportunity to put your system and data analytics skills to work while managing a small team.

Examples of what you'll be doing include:

- Coaching and mentoring your team on system related tasks and core HR transactions, including actioning HR Help Desk requests
- Assisting with data cleansing and bulk uploads as part of maintaining data integrity
- Liaising with Council's IT team in relation to vendor escalation for issues requiring technical support
- Assisting your team with system related tasks, including actioning HR Help Desk requestsAssisting with other tasks and projects as required as part of the broader People, Culture & Performance group

**About You**

You will also bring:

- Certificate level qualifications or higher in business, IT, HR or a related area
- Advanced Excel skills
- A strong customer service focus

**What’s on offer**
Depending on qualifications and experience we are offering a base salary from $117,832 to $129,758 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation.
