Truck Jockey/Labourer

On behalf of Ballarat Plaster Specialists, gforce is currently seeking a Truck Jockey/Labourer to assist with the delivery of plasterboard in Ballarat and the surrounding districts.

Ballarat Plaster Specialists (formerly Ballarat Associated Fibrous Plasters) is a family owned and operated business for over 30 years and is Ballarat’s “one-stop-shop” for plasterboard and plaster accessories. They’re also an active member of the Ballarat community supporting local sporting clubs and are committed to providing a safe working environment for all their stakeholders including their employees, customers, and general public.

What’s in it for you?

Casual rate of $28 - $30 p/h

Monday - Friday

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
Manual handling of plasterboard

Assisting truck driver to load and unload plasterboard

Helping to secure loads

Delivering plasterboard on to building sites

May require some customer service

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
Experience delivering plasterboard or furniture removal an advantage

Physically fit for manual handling

Construction Induction Card

Ability to work in a team

Good communication

Valid forklift licence would be an advantage

HR Truck licence would be an advantage but not necessary

Pass a pre-employment medical including a drug screen

PPE including steel cap work boots, gloves and hi vis
