Airconditioning Technician

**Our client, a household name and an industry leading large caravan manufacturer is seeking the services of qualified Air conditioning Technician or people with relevant experience in air conditioning.**

Our Client is based in Melbourne, and is an Australian owned company manufacturing fantastic caravans - They are an Australian success story known for designing, creating and building the best Caravans in their class.

- 3 years or more experience as an AC technician
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Must be competent with hand and power tools
- Must have great problem solving skills and be able to produce high quality workmanship
- Ability to work as a part of a multi functional team
- Experience in the caravan industry would be highly regarded
- Strong awareness and focus on Occupational Workplace Health & Safety
- Relevant trade qualification
- 38 hours of work weekly

**The role will include**:

- Deducing requirements through drawings, schematics and specifications, and laying out installation reference points
- Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading piping within the AC section of our caravans
- Bolting, soldering, riveting, welding and brazing pipes to connect equipment, and checking alignment and accuracy of fit
- Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks that could jeopardise caravans
- Adjusting system controls and mechanisms and reassembling systems within the caravan

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
