As an APS5 Technician, working in the Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB) in the Department of Defence, you will be working on some of the most exciting and complex guided weapons and explosive ordnance products used by the Australian Defence Force.

You will spend your days:

- Investigating, reporting and performing technical assessments that support Defence materiel capability life cycle, planning and delivering critical technical activities.
- Providing technical explosive ordnance electronic-mechanical advice to stakeholders.
- Mentoring junior members.
- Engaging with stakeholders to deliver and exercise appropriate technical delegations.

**About our Team**
Maritime Explosive Ordnance Systems Program Office (MEOPSO) is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB) within Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Delivery Division, which is part of GWEO Group. Our team is made up of various disciplines (including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are located in Canberra, Penrith, Ipswich, RAAF Amberley and Rockingham (HMAS Stirling) and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
