**About the Role**:
Wheatbelt Steel are seeking an experienced Project & Logistics Coordinator to join our passionate and hardworking team in Northam, WA. This dynamic role is perfect for a project administrator or an administration professional with experience in transport to take the next step in their career. The Coordinator Project Logistics will be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of project fabrication and supply components. Also will handle the coordination and planning of logístical services as required by the business to ensure the materials are delivered at the point of use at the optimal timing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitors fabrication, goods, and services progress in support of on time delivery to project sites
- Schedules deliveries optimally to ensure materials arrive on site when needed
- Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability
- Develops and maintains inventory stock levels for supplies and materials used
- Reviews contract & sales documentation and purchase orders to ensure compliance with contracted terms and conditions
- Accesses market and engages reliable vendors based on predictable performance and cost delivery
- Prepares “Requests for Quotation” (RFQ) documents to engage markets and capture market data efficiently
- Develops and maintains a record of applicable market rates for goods, services, and logístical arrangements
- Provides trending to determine projected future costs
- Prepares and issues all external orders for goods, services, and logístical arrangements
- Prepares and issues all internal requests from inventory and services

**Skills and Experience**
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (in specific “Word”, and “Excel”)
- Be highly organised to maintain clear records and provide concise regular reports
- Desire to work within a team and contribute to the success of the wider Ahrens business
- Sound planning and organisational skills to ensure effective time management
- Driver’s Licence
