We currently have an opportunity for a Traction Lineperson to join our Queensland Rail Network SEQ team in the Brisbane area. This area delivers infrastructure services, construction, maintenance, asset management and development across 850 kilometres of track around South East Queensland, which stretches from Varsity Lakes in the South to Gympie in the North and from Moreton Bay in the East and inland to Rosewood in the west.

As a Traction Lineperson you carry out the installation, maintenance and repair of overhead traction power equipment and report on the performance /condition of the traction power asset.

**To be considered for this position you will have**
- Sound knowledge of all types of overhead line equipment and their relevant maintenance and installation standards.
- Excellent knowledge of high voltage operating procedures and safeworking practices and principles.

**In addition you must also have**:

- Current Queensland Electrical Linesperson licence;
- National Driver’s license

This opportunity operates across a 4week cycle, with shifts scheduled days, nights and on weekends during weekend track closures. Base rate $35/hr with an average Salary of $120-140k plus a generous Superannuation package Note: Avg salary includes O/T, shift & environment allowances.
