Our Client, a manufacturer of raw product through to final product to the building & construction industry, are currently seeking an additional Mechanical Fitter to join their maintenance team on an ongoing basis with the view to go permanent after an initial 3 months have been completed.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will see you working amongst 15 others in the maintenance team comprising of Fitters, Electricians and Boilermakers. You will be tasked with repairing and performing breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment.

**Shift Pattern**:
This role will initially start on day shift; Monday to Friday - 8 hour minimum with overtime available. (Paid at Penalty Rates) Once you are familiar with the plant and equipment it will move to rotating shift work.
- Week 1 - Day Shift
- Week 2 - Day Shift (on call for night shift)
- Week 3 - Afternoon Shift.

**Rates: - OT payable at penalty rates.**
- Day Shift: $54.84
- Afternoon Shift: $63.06
- Night Shift: $64.44

**Must Haves**:

- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade qualification (Sorry no LV or HD Certs)
- Solid communication skills
- Current Drivers Licence with own transport
- Permanent resident of Australia with full working rights
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
