**Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role?**
We are seeking Support Workers to provide support to our customers in Brisbane's northside suburbs. This is a rewarding community based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support.
Hours of work for the role are typically rostered between 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Your set roster will be dependent on your availability, with permanent part-time contracts ranging from 30 to 65 hours per fortnight. There may also be the opportunity to gain additional hours depending on your availability and operational requirements.
The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks.

For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold an open Queensland Driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. A National Police Check and CPR and First Aid certificates are also required in this position.
