NEPEAN Conveyors is an innovative provider of fully engineered turnkey conveying and materials handling solutions, from concept to commissioning for some of the world's largest mining companies. Established in 1985, we manufacture and market high powered bulk materials handling conveyor systems and components as well as provide on-site installation, maintenance, and relocation of conveyor installations.

**Our Opportunity**

Due to exponential growth, Nepean Conveyors is currently seeking a Mechanical Designers to join teams located in NSW, Qld and WA

Your daily duties will include however are not limited to;
- 3D modelling and sketching up designs using input from engineers and senior designers on the team.
- Calculate factors like tolerances, dimensioning, weldability and ease of assembly.
- Create designs in line with company procedures, regulations and client standards.
- Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve or repair the company's existing machines.
- Liaison with stakeholders
- Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built according to design specifications

**The Right Person**

To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

- Appropriate qualification/training.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 3D CAD.
- 3+ years experience in a design role or related experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated good oral and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a design team.
- Rights to work in Australia

**Salary**: $60,000 - $80,000 + super
