**Education Coordinator - NICU/Neonatal and Paediatric**

In collaboration with the Newborn Services leadership team and the Centre for Education and Learning team, the Education Coordinator will ensure that services provided are focussed on respecting the rights, needs and expectations of patients and their family.

**About the Role**

The role is designed for a highly motivated experienced Education Coordinator with post graduate Neonatal Intensive Care or Paediatric Intensive Care qualifications and experience in leadership and education within Neonatal and Paediatric Nursing.

The Education Coordinator is a pivotal education and learning leadership role and responsible for the coordination, development and delivery of programs to assist the Western Health Newborn Services Unit deliver Level 6A neonatal capability and Paediatric services Unit to build capability as a growing service.

The coordinator will be responsible for supporting and developing the Post-graduate NICU program, Postgraduate Paediatric program, Grad+ program, continuing education, growth of graduate, postgraduate and undergraduate students in Newborn and Paediatric Services at Western Health. The coordinator will be leading a team of Clinical Educators and Clinical Support Nurses in Newborn and Paediatric services to deliver education, learning and development to support our growing workforce in delivering best care to our patients and their families.

**To be Successful in this Role you must**:

- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in neonatal and/or paediatric educational.
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience as a program coordinator and manager in Neonatal and/or Paediatric areas.
- Hold postgraduate studies in Neonatal or Paediatric Intensive Care
- Hold or nearing completion of a Masters in education or leadership
- A minimum of 3 years educational experience in the neonatal and paediatric space
