Initiate and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the Blue Mountains
Theatre & Community Hub activities and programs.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop show specific marketing campaigns in consultation with Facility Manager

and Programs Coordinator.
- Develop effective media campaigns which maximise coverage with local, regional,

Sydney and National media (where relevant).
- Manage, develop and grow Blue Mountains Theatre’s social media / digital

marketing outlets
- Manage the BMT&CH website
- In conjunction with Programs Coordinator, liaise with promoters on the production

and delivery of print material.
- Manage and facilitate direct marketing programs across snail-mail and EDM (e
- newsletters)
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager at Blue Mountains Cultural Centre to find

synergies in marketing activity and capitalize on marketing campaigns for the two
key Arts facilities.
- Develop relationships with key markets that can deliver group bookings to targeted

Blue Mountains Theatre programs ie. Seniors, OOSH, etc.

**Workplace Health & Safety**

Ensure compliance with WHS obligations and responsibilities as outlined in Councils
policies and procedures and under the relevant WHS legislation. These include but
are not limited to identifying potentially unsafe situations or work practices and
notifying your Supervisor or Manager (or the Health, Safety Manager/Area Safety

you do not have the experience, or have not received appropriate instructions and
training or where the correct equipment to carry out the task safely is not available;

**COMMUNICATION
- This job requires written communication skills which enable the job holder to write

detailed correspondence, reports and submissions that require original sentence
and paragraph construction and wording.
- The jobholder is responsible for formulating customer service programs, including

assessment of customer satisfaction with the service and coordination of customer
input with the service design.
- Required to provide service to internal customers as a regular part of the job.

Service includes answering queries, providing documentation, sourcing advice and
referring queries to appropriate personnel.
- Responsible for establishing and communicating project team goals and

objectives, and implementing the achievement of plans.
This job requires communication skills which enable the job holder to perform the
