**The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced **Configuration Management Lead** to support a world class maritime surveillance aircraft, the P-8A Poseidon. The role will be required to work in a dynamic integrated program team based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, Adelaide, SA.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement and maintain the Configuration and Data Management plans, processes and procedures, in accordance with DASR, business and contractual requirements.
- Manage and maintain the programs product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes, and current approved configuration in the configuration status accounting tool/s.
- Perform lifecycle management of engineering changes including participation in the Change Control Boards and acting as release authority for design data.
- Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
- Lead the alignment of the programs Configuration and Data Management processes with the common Boeing processes and practices.
- Lead the continuous improvement of processes for efficiency in accordance with LEAN principles.
- Implement and maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements.
- Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.
- Develop training on the programs configuration management systems and provide mentoring to the project team.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a design, manufacturing or maintenance industry;
- Formal Configuration Management training / certification;
- Experienced in managing configuration of products in a Product Lifecycle Management system, electronic document management system, or similar;
