**Your new role**:
As the Project Trainee you will be responsible for Project Support and Administration. This position lies within the Program Delivery team of Maritime Australia for the Hunter Class Frigate Program.

**In more specific terms you will**:

- Assist with support of the daily, weekly and monthly tasks and working collaboratively
- Assist with coordination of meetings including preparation of agendas, taking minutes, recording actions and distribution of meeting documentation
- Coordination of on-boarding of new starters, including security, site inductions, ensuring hardware and software products ordered for new starters.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a programme wide overview presentation and on-boarding pack, work instructions, and checklists.
- Support development of packs, meeting setup, and attendees for workshops and planning days.
- Provide support across Programme Delivery Office, including Integration, Planning and Project Control, Risk & Opportunity, Programme Performances
- Liaise and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Support Internal project reviews
- Undertake Project support administration tasks

About you

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Team orientation with a high level of communication skills
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities with superb communication & stakeholder management skills
- Use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Organisational and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Excel, Oracle (or other ERP/MRP) software
- Ability to liaise effectively with management, engineers and technical personnel
