**The role**:
The Franchise Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in the growth of Anytime Fitness, the largest brand in the Collective Wellness Group (CWG) franchise portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Lead (Anytime Fitness), this role will own the media strategy and implementation across National and Zone Marketing. The role will be the voice of the Franchisee, ensuring effective use of media spending to hit Brand and Acquisition targets.

**Day to day will include**:
**Media Strategy & Implementation**
- Develop and own media strategy and implementation across Anytime Fitness (National and Zone)
- Brief National Media Strategy to Media Agency, ensuring best practice implementation
- Work closely with Zone Marketing, taking on feedback and franchisee proposals in building media plans and local marketing activity
- Attend and lead organisation of Zone meetings
- Provide structure to planning, financials and reporting for Zones in conjunction with Zone Chairman
- Track, measure and analyse initiatives
- Share learnings and actionable insights with stakeholders, both within marketing and across the business
- Report monthly on media activity to demonstrate ROI through dashboards and franchise reports
- Measure and analyse data to identify opportunities to drive performance
- Identify and lead continuous performance improvement to drive effectiveness and efficiency
- Maintain awareness of the fitness and franchise competitive landscape to identify new industry developments, opportunities and threats to our business, brands and existing and prospective franchisees
- Collaborate with Local Area Marketing Groups to drive local strategy, deliver an understanding of best practices for growth and impact, and drive transparency of plans and budget spending.
- Drive franchise engagement of the marketing function, developing strategies to create collaborative relationships, educate and upskill with relevant internal communications practices to drive success
- Maintain awareness of the fitness and franchise competitive landscape to identify new industry developments, opportunities and threats to our business, brands and existing and prospective franchisees
- Be the customer champion with a strong understanding of consumer journeys and support brand and customer insights to track performance and identify opportunities
- Work closely with PR Agency to deliver the annual plan and key initiatives

**People and working practices**
- Drive franchise engagement of the marketing function and in particular the media strategy
- Work closely with Brand Manager and Regional Managers to ensure consistency across channels
- Manage Media agency and network agencies
- Report monthly on all marketing and campaign activity to demonstrate ROI through dashboards and franchise reports

***Other**
- Prepare Award Submissions for Anytime Fitness and Collective Wellness Group
- Present at Webinars, Roadshows and Conferences as required
- Participate as an active member and role model in the Collective Wellness Group team
- Demonstrate commitment to living the Collective Wellness Group principles: Own It, See It, Feel It, Do It, Together
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

**Experience & About You**
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an integrated marketing role with a heavy emphasis on both traditional and new media practices
- Franchise Marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher will be highly regarded
- Significant knowledge of digital & traditional media landscape required, as well as good working knowledge of brand & PR
- Stellar presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Proactive and creative thinker
- The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholder groups
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a time sensitive environment
- Strong analytical and data visualisation skills with a demonstrated ability to use data to develop relevant insights and influence decision making
- Commercially focused with extensive budget management experience
- Previous experience or strong passion for the fitness industry is preferable
- Passionate team player
- Intermediate computer skills, i.e. Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc
