**About the Centre/Service**

East Brunswick Kindergarten is a community

**Description**
- We are seeking a qualified Educator with Diploma in Early childhood Education and care to support our kindergarten team. The successful applicant will be working in the funded 4 year old Kindergarten group with an additional Tuesday of Long Day Care. The position requires you to:

- contribute to the implementation of a quality early learning program under the direction of the Kindergarten Teacher
- Oversee the before and aftercare alongside our educator team
- communicate effectively with families about children's day
- develop and maintain strong partnerships with families, children and our EBK team
- observe and document children's learning

The position commences March 2024
- The position is 25.5 hours per week
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8-5.30
- Educators are employed under the Professional Childcare Standards agreement and paid above this award
- Educators are offered seven weeks leave per year (this includes a 4 week closure period over the summer break)

**Qualifications**
- Essential Criteria include;
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid/Asthma/Anaphylaxis/CPR
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Child Protection Certificate
