**First Nations Mental Health Nursing Graduate Program 2024**

The RMH Mental Health & Wellbeing Service is committed to providing opportunities for First Nations Nursing Graduates to build a meaningful career within mental health services.
- We are excited to offer the new First Nations Mental Health Graduate Program which combines our well established Graduate Mental Health Nursing Program with a new culturally safe program for entry level First Nations Registered Nurse graduates. This program aims to enable you to complete your mental health nursing graduate program, whilst also building community connections and understanding.
- We recognise the unique skills and perspectives you offer to our organisation and are excited to support your journey. We will provide a supportive recruitment process with a First Nations clinician available to you at every stage.

**Your new role**:

- Connections to First Nations activities, learning and significant events
- Support throughout the program from peers and other First Nations employees
- Support and education from the Graduate Program Coordinators and Clinical Nurse Educators
- In the clinical setting, you will provide recovery orientated and consumer centred care in a dynamic environment that has a strong commitment to innovative practice
- You will be part of a strong team culture in the Adult Acute Inpatient Unit at RMH

**About you**:

- You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- You will be registered with Ahpra prior to the program commencing in January 2024
- You are passionate about a career in mental health nursing
