Salary: $62,233 - $69,950 p.a. plus 11% Super

**About the role**
This is a **15-month**, **fixed term, full-time **position working **35 hours** per week (Monday - Sunday) and will be based at **Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Nowra**.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Manager - Arts & Culture, the focus of this position is to:

- Co-ordinate the “bump-in” and “bump-out” of exhibitions, hanging of works and liaison with artists in accordance with industry best practice.
- Perform front-of-house duties and associated responsibilities at Council’s Regional Gallery and the day-to-day operation of the galleries, gallery shop, volunteers and casual staff, liaison with the public and artists.
- In consultation with Manager - Arts & Culture, develop and implement strategies for arts & culture in the Shoalhaven to ensure the achievement of the Delivery Program and Operational Plan objectives and financial targets.
- Foster the development of the arts & cultural heritage within the City within agreed parameters to enable greater; community awareness of, accessibility to, participation in and appreciation of, relevant programs and activities in the Shoalhaven.

**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Diploma level qualification in Arts, Marketing, Arts Education, or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in arts and cultural facility resource operation, or art gallery support programs.
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid and RSA Certificates (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship

Council requires applicants for this position to undergo a National Criminal History Check during the recruitment process. This check will be at the expense of Council.
