- QML Pathology is part of Healius’ Pathology division, one of Australia’s leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia’s largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.**Your duties will include**:
Collection of blood and other samples from patients in clinics, COVID Drive Thru’s and home visits; Packaging and dispatching of specimens;
- Stock maintenance;
- Greeting patients / customers and assist with appointments and request details;
- Receive payments and receipting of patient accounts;
- Provide advice on special requirements, preparation and instructions for tests; and
- Compliance and adherence with QML Pathology policies and procedures, and Workplace Health and Safety procedures.**You will possess**:
An outstanding patient / customer focus, including the ability to liaise with internal & external customers;
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures;
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes;
- Strong time management, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence and your own transport/vehicle is essential; and
- Demonstrated experience & knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Cert III in Pathology is highly advantageous.**Training**
