**What does it take to become a Civican?**

Exceptional opportunity for a Compliance Consultant to join our Corporate Business Unit. This role would be primarily responsible for managing the delivery of business processes in line with the core principles of privacy, security, resilience, and quality - focusing on regulatory and contractual compliance, risk reduction, and continual process improvement.

With a strong background in the software industry in a technology focused **Compliance Consultant role** and strong stakeholder management skills, you come with an ability to investigate and analyze systems and processes to identify risks.

Knowledge of ISO standards including ISO27001, ISO22301, and ISO9001 is preferred.

**A day in the life**
- Manage compliance processes relating to data processing - including documentation (records of processing), data protection impact assessments, and security assessments for divisions in APAC.
- Advise on need for privacy and security assessments and assist with queries to support the completion of assessments to the required standard ensuring all documentation is held within the Management System.
- Ensure that incident management processes, vendor management and risk management processes are appropriately adhered to - escalating risks and concerns where appropriate.
- Support business stakeholders in responses to client tenders and security questionnaires.
- Ensure quality (ISO 9001) contractual obligations continue to be met in relation to security and data and that any changes to operating practices as agreed with customers are appropriately documented and managed.
- Participate in and assist with internal and external audits and follow-up audit actions.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on compliance best practices.
- Investigate and address compliance concerns, working to resolve issues efficiently.
- Monitor, assess, and report on regulatory and contractual compliance actions.
