**Description**:
Quick overview of the role
We are currently seeking a meticulous Groundsman/Gardener to join our friendly team in a full-time capacity. This exciting role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a landscaped garden plan for green spaces at our Currumbin property.
This role is responsible for monitoring the health of all plants and greenspaces, watering and feeding plants, trimming trees and shrubs, fertilizing, and mowing lawns, weeding gardens, and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. The role is also responsible for maintaining landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and fertilizers, while following health and safety regulations. Ultimately, you will ensure our grounds and green spaces are always healthy and beautiful
What will you be doing?
Maintenance of lawns; including mowing, trimming & fertilizing
Propagate plants and seedlings in-house for use on-site in gardens
Monitor and maintain the health of plants
Liaise with external contractors to carry out tree lopping
Clean walkways with high pressure cleaner
Vermin control
Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery
Check drainage especially near buildings
Removal of rubbish and general handyman duties as requested
**Skills and Experiences**:
Proven experience as a Gardener and/or Certificate III in Horticulture
- Strong practical skills and the ability to operate various landscaping equipment and tools

Current driver's license
Previous grounds maintenance experience
Able to lift heavy objects.
Familiar with landscaping design highly desirable
Extensive knowledge of regional plant life is highly desirable
Capable of working unsupervised
