Warehouse Operator

This family owned and operated company is losing a much-loved member of the team to retirement and hopes to find someone who will become a valued member of the company. Established in 2000, we have grown into a substantial supplier of both wholesale and retail packaging and office supplies.

We are looking for a person who meets the following:

- Experienced licenced forklift driver
- Experience in loading and unloading pallets as well as handling loose items
- Awareness of Health & Safety in regard to all aspects of the position
- Holds both a car and a truck license (optional)
- Must have a clean driving history
- Locate stock in warehouse, monitor stock locations and changes, assist in managing stock control
- Complete orders for delivery
- Ability to read orders and locate products in the warehouse
- Carry out local deliveries
- Fluency in English is optimal, however, English as a second language is appreciated as long as competent in written, reading and spoken English
- Other languages valued
- Ability to liaise with truck drivers and other visitors to the warehouse
- Mature attitude to work and business ethics
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team
- No computer skills necessary
- Full training provided in all aspects of the position.

Usual employee benefits with flexible hours. Currently the position is a 30 hour week with occasional extra hours.

**Salary**: $25.88 - $35.81 per hour

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
