This role is located in the Kensington but may also involve a working from home component.

Attention to detail and teamwork are important qualities for the role as well as an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.

About the Role:
The position will provide a range of administrative support functions to the organisation at large.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Perform a range of administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner including answering routine queries, taking messages, following up on action items, arranging meetings and agendas, photocopying and filing.
- Perform computer-based tasks including preparing and sending standard written communications, maintaining databases and registers.
- Communicate and liaise effectively with managers and staff to assist in the professional operation of the area.
- Provide support in the collation and distribution of documents.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department’s ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
