Maintenance Fitter - RE- Pump

Meka Recruitment are working with a leading Wastewater management company and due to their growth and expansion they are looking for Maintenance Fitters to join their growing team in the Redlands.

As a Maintenance fitter you will will be doing General Maintenance, Wastewater Management and shutdown work.

About The Role
- Stripping, assessing and repairing pumps.
- General machining of parts and fabrication
- Machine pump shafts
- Re-assembling pumps
- Machine and rebuild Centrifugal Clutches
- Repair right angle gearboxes
- Fabrication of general machinery parts
- Will be a trade qualified fitter and turner.
- Have 5 years experience outside of the apprenticeship.
- Reliable and Punctual
- QLD open drivers' licence
- Available for an immediate start

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Redlands, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
