An exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a GLOBAL company. This is a newly created role based in Melbourne CBD reporting to the Financial Director.

**Procurement Manager**
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a GLOBAL company. This is a newly created role based in Melbourne CBD reporting to the Financial Director.

You will be a proactive self-starter and responsible for developing indirect procurement strategies. You will be part of the Corporate Planning stream within the Finance team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop indirect procurement strategies including midterm transformation strategies for cost optimisation
- Coordinate conclusion of agreements with suppliers, selection of key business partners, and negotiate for the revision of contracts or the establishment of new ones
- Implement cost saving and strategic opportunities, including automation, by understanding the business operation and costs driver across the business
- Cross collaborate with various departments within the business to drive cost optimization opportunities
- Monitor cost saving achieved after project execution and analyse cost optimization outcome
- Lead the RFP/RFI process and work with head of departments to select the best vendor
- Lead weekly cost control approval process with senior leadership team to determine cost objectives and ROI
**Skills & Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
