**Role Responsibilities**:
A full-time, permanent position with weekend work and flexible start times required.
- Working as part of the digital team, you will be responsible for publishing content from our reporters and newsroom to our digital channels in a timely and engaging way
- Managing the Herald Sun app and homepage
- Collaborate with social media and SEO teams
- Follow data and analytics to promote our journalism to huge audiences.

**Skills and Experience**:

- A keen news sense, with strong interest in current affairs
- Writing, subediting and digital production skills (headline writing, video editing, graphic design are beneficial)
- An interest in other media sites and how they display and promote their content
- A team-first attitude
- The initiative to jump in without direction to get things done
- A willingness to learn new skills
- An ability to handle a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
