we are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our dynamic pastry team. As a Baker, you will work under the guidance and supervision of the Head Baker, contributing to the creation of delicious donuts and baked goods that delight our customers. Your attention to detail, expertise in baking techniques, and commitment to quality will be essential in ensuring the success of our bakery.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Donut Preparation and Execution:
- Prepare and monitor baking of a variety of donuts following established recipes and procedures.
- Measure and mix ingredients to produce consistent and high-quality donuts.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve desired texture and taste.
- Introduce new Products to the business
- Ensure compliance with portion control and presentation standards specific to donuts.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
2. Ingredient Preparation and Inventory Management:
- Assist in preparing ingredients, including measuring, weighing, and mixing as necessary for donut production.
- Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels of donut ingredients and reporting any shortages or discrepancies to the Head Baker.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of donut ingredients and equipment.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the Head Baker and the pastry team to ensure smooth donut production and timely delivery of products.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow specifically for donut production.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for donut recipe improvement and product innovation.
- Punctuality and discipline: Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and adhere to the established work schedule.
- Utilize Deputy to track your availability and accurately record your working hours.
4. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Assist in quality control processes to ensure that all donuts meet our high standards of taste, texture, and appearance.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished donuts to identify any deviations from quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the donut production process.
5. Cleanliness and Safety:
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations specific to donut production.
- Follow proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures for donut equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Head Baker.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Baker or similar role, preferably in a bakery or pastry shop
- Strong knowledge of donut & Bread baking techniques, ingredients, and measurements.
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
- Attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality donuts.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards specific to donut production.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required for donut production.

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
Supplemental pay types:

- Beverly Hills, NSW 2209: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
