Melton, Australia Buns n Slices Full time

We are looking for a cafe all rounder who has passion for coffee and customer service, as well as experience in a fast-paced cafe environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to customers
- Operate coffee equipment and ensure that it is in good working order
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding areas
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments
- Pack and serve food items such as you go
- Assist in restocking and inventory management as needed
- Contribute to the overall success of the business by working collaboratively with other team members
- Confidently open and close the machine, dial in coffee, and be able to problem solve where necessary

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role
- Good knowledge of coffee, including different brewing methods and roasts
- Ability to operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, kind and professional manner
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow with the team
- Confident in working with alternative milks (oat, almond, soy)
- Can pour a nicely presented coffee

NICE TO HAVE
- Specialty coffee experience and knowledge but we can offer training on this

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $21.80 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
