**Responsibilities**:

- To work within and encourage a team environment that allows the company to meet its On Time delivery, Labour Recoveries and Quality targets.
- To supervise the assembly of NOV Australia and products in line with accepted quality practices as required in the day to day running of the assembly department.
- To work closely with the ‘Project, Planning and Supply Teams’ to ensure that all ‘Projects works are completed to the customers’ requirements and to NOV targets (On Time Delivery, within budget and to the highest quality).
- To actively participate and cooperate with the project Team to determine ‘routings, lead time and resource requirements’ to meet the customers’ requirements.
- To work with and advise the Assembly Manager of any discrepancies of pump components that are not readily available for projected orders offering possible solutions to ensure on time delivery to the customer
- To work with and advise the Assembly Manager of any product defects identified during assembly and ensuring all NCR paperwork is raised in a timely fashion as well as investigating possible alternatives so that on time delivery to customer is met.
- To ensure continuous improvement in production assembly and labour utilization is conducted to assist in assembly cost reductions and a reduction in product lead times.
- To conduct or co ordinate training of all new or existing employees within the Assembly department to achieve a multi-skilled workforce.
- To display a level of professionalism that provides the platform for a positive working environment.
- Comply to all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to and play an active role in NOV Australia OHS processes and systems and legislative compliance
- Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessary
