**Contact Centre Operator - Phone Based Position**

**Pay: $32.73p/h plus Super**

**Flexible Working from Home Arrangements - Initial training onsite for 2 weeks.**

**Hours: 7hrs per day 35hrs per week
- Shift rosters will be 7.5hrs (including unpaid lunch break) between 7:30am-6:00pm.**

**Must be available for both rotating shifts**
**Location: Parramatta - 7min walk from Train Station.**

**Checks: 2x References, Police Check once successful**

Our State Govt client provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. They employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.

About EDConnect

EDConnect provides support, information and advice to schools and corporate staff for the following services

**Primary purpose of the role**

The position is a first level technical resolution point for all reported ICT related incidents and has the requirement to work closely with other key internal stakeholders across the different technology units.

To provide excellent customer service skills to internal clients and assisting them to be fully operational and functional to fulfill their daily duties.

**Desired Technical Skills**:

- Being Tech Savvy
- Demonstrated operational service desk or contact centre experience.
- Be the first point of contact for any customer inquiries.
- Troubleshooting of basic ICT hardware and software.
- Preferred knowledge of the Remedy helpdesk framework but not essential.
- A strong focus to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver outcomes to an agreed schedule.
- Ability to clearly communicate and convey technical information to customers
- IT experience and having come from a customer service background and willing to learn as it is a phone-based role
- Hybrid Flexibility: 1-2 days in the office and the rest working from home.
- Position will require first couple of weeks in the office to be trained so you can work from home with confidence since it is a phone-based role.
