YOUR NEW ROLE
Join our team as an Assistant Buyer and play a crucial role in driving the success of the Explore More strategy. As a key support to the Explore More Buyer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of our strategy by fostering seamless collaboration between suppliers, internal teams, and external partners.
Your responsibilities will encompass facilitating product sourcing, maintaining strong supplier relationships, meticulous data entry, and contributing to the overall triumph of the Explore More business. - Ensure our suppliers are aligned with our quality and testing expectations, tracking and measuring product quality and return data
- Interact positively with the Buying, Planning, Marketing and Quality teams to achieve seamless introduction of new products online
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs to drive new product and digital experience opportunities
- Identify areas of improvement based on customer feedback including product content, sales performance and supplier operational performance.
- Support the implementation of operational processes and policies to deliver continued growth and improvement for the Explore More operating model
- Work closely with the buyer to ensure that all relevant photography samples arrive in time for photography. Responsible for physical product and record keeping for samples.
- Contribute to and Implement the Explore More Product and category plans
- Collaborate with the buyer, source new vendors and products for range growth within our future vision
- Monitor and achieve Vendor and SKU performance as aligned with our Ranging principles and associated KPIs
- Work closely with key teams to achieve seamless introduction of new products online, including screening all new product submissions and ensuring all mandatory data and certifications are provided and are correct
- Responsible for owning the day-to-day management of supporting tools like the pricing tool, identify monthly slow selling sku's and plan their exit
- Produce insights, recommendations, and reporting around marketing and social campaigns in order to drive sales
- Actively support the buyer with the category strategy initiatives to drive sales, focusing on the key categories and subcategories to compliment and fill gaps in the Core range

**TO BE SUCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL REQUIRE**:

- Prior experience in Ecommerce.
- Excellent communication and numerical skills
- Previous experience in a buying role would be beneficial
- Advanced skills in Excel to manipulate data, analyse and interpret
- Sound ability in Word and PowerPoint
- Professional with a sense of fun and vibrancy for a fast paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Highly developed customer relationship management skills
- Demonstrated training & coaching skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Office suite
