We improve lives through the strategic design and development of everyday services across government, finance, education, energy and health. We are a team of 40 based in Sydney and Canberra.

**Strategy at Future Friendly**

Strategists at FF are responsible for taking an outcomes-focused approach to user research, experiment design, synthesis and insights, and measurement and evaluation. Specifically, you will lead activities spanning planning and conducting research, spotting significance in evidence, identifying opportunities, building business cases, aligning on outcomes and designing evaluation frameworks.

**The Opportunity**

Our experience and approach is based around providing multi-disciplinary teams to plan, design and build digital products and services delivered through our sprint-based methodology. We draw on multiple disciplines from user research, strategy, user experience, visual design, service design, policy design, front-end development, back-end development, mobile development, user testing, data science, project management and technical consulting.

Our Canberra team is looking for a Digital Product Strategist to join our team. We are looking for someone with a digital product strategy, innovation and design background, which might mean you have worked as a Digital Strategist, User Researcher, UX Designer, Strategic Designer, Innovation Lead or Service Designer in the past.

**Requirements**:
**Key responsibilities**

With some support from Strategy Partner and other senior team members, Digital Product Strategists are able to perform the following key responsibilities:

- Design research plans including objectives, hypotheses and methodologies and effectively communicate that plan to internal teams and clients
- Assumptions and hypotheses driven design - select research methods and design against assumptions and hypotheses
- Plan and facilitate usability and concept testing - script writing, inclusive recruitment and execution
- Distil learning into simple, powerful and actionable insights and opportunities
- Synthesise research outputs and harness the power of storytelling based on facts and insights
- Build and collaborate on strategy narrative and business cases
- Identify project outcomes and indicators (using Theory of Change, MEL or similar frameworks)
- Confidently plan and facilitate workshops.

Strategists are able to attend and contribute to the following key engagements:

- Client check-ins and demonstrations
- Team meetings, daily studio stand-ups and all agency meetings
- Studio learning sessions.
