We are looking for a Specialist Data Governance & Quality Toolsets to be part of a small team responsible for building Data Quality monitoring and remediation solutions along with Master Data management domains for Business functions within Rio Tinto, specifically for the ERP System - SAP. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned data governance & quality professional to assist in supporting SAP replication, data extraction and transformation for the Data Lake and various down stream business solutions.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor - Data Management Services and working in a collaborative community within our Data & Analytics division, you will:

- Ensure adherence to Rio ERP Data Standards are adhered to through Data Quality Monitoring.
- Contribute to high level analysis of data governance opportunities based on requests from business partners and
- Create SQL queries for the Rapid Application Development toolset (Syniti - DSP) for Data Quality monitoring.
- Develop Web Applications for Master Data Management domains and other business solutions that improve Data Quality outcomes for the business.
- Gain deep technical knowledge of new and existing solutions to support operational teams
- Define and implement standards and procedures for the development and support of the Data Quality toolset (DSP).
- Ensure escalations of issues, risks and defects are handled appropriately.

- Experience with relational databases and the Structured Query Language (SQL)
- A demonstrated knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2008 or later.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2008 or later
- Basic work experience with the SYNITI DSP platform would be desirable
- Microsoft Office experience
