3D/4d Technician

**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a 3D/4D Technician trainee to join our small but dynamic team at our Footscray site which is 10 minute from the CBD and close to public transport. We offer a part time role with flexible starting times. As we operate in a niche area, training will be provided in the 3D/4D ultrasound component. **We do not offer ultrasound training to trainees.**

**Skills and Experience Required**
- **A strong passion **for 3D/4D ultrasound.
- Possess a customer focused attitude especially with pregnant women and their family.
- Highly motivated and willingness to learn.
- Able to work autonomously and unsupervised.
- Although training will be provided, experience in ultrasound scanning is not essential but would be advantageous.
- Working with pregnant mothers essential.
- Proficient with MS office suite.
- Medical background would be advantageous

We pride ourselves in delivering the best ultrasound experience and patient care for expectant parents. We have state-of-the art technology and a dedicated team servicing pregnant mothers as clients.

**Please note**
This is a long and fruitful journey and we only encourage applicants who wish to undertake 3D/4D ultrasound as a career choice. Training may take up to 1 year.
- The set of training will consist of shadowing a sonographer/technician and understanding patient care, bedside manner, protocols and procedures
- After understanding protocols, packages and procedures, you will be training with volunteers and learning how to use the ultrasound machine safely and effectively

**NOTE: There is no training position for medical ultrasound** **at this stage.**
