**About You**

Passionate about dogs, you thrive in a team environment as well as being self-motivated. You are hard working and you love to go the extra mile to achieve quality outcomes and provide an incredible experience for our dogs. To enable this you will have:

- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A can-do attitude with a positive and flexible mindset
- Attention to detail
- A desire to learn and continuously develop your skills
- The physical fitness to lift up to 20kg and handle up to 35kg dogs
- Experience in preparing pedigree styles and curly coats using velocity and fluff dryers is preferred but not essential as 2 weeks training and ongoing development is provided
- Empathy towards all dogs and treat them with kindness at all times

**About the role**

While we are a quiet and calm salon, we are in demand which requires focus to stay on track and ensure dogs are washed, dried and handed over to our groomers within a deadline. In detail the role is responsible for:

- Preparing dogs for grooming (bath, blow dry, spa treatments) using tailored techniques for their breed
- Keeping the bathing area and salon neat and tidy including laundering towels
- Adhering to Worksafe guidelines
- Adhering to set timeframes for dog preparation

We can offer flexibility in work hours. As a guide we hope you would enjoy working Wednesday to Friday, 7am - 3pm and Saturday 7am - 12pm

The Dapper Dog Grooming & Spa is a quiet and calm environment where dogs can relax and enjoy being pampered.

We use locally sourced luxury natural products. Our groomers are all experienced and we are proud to specialise in longer teddy bear grooms and the specific requirements of pedigree grooms. We love bringing out the dogs' personality with a beautiful groom

Our regular dogs love coming for their groom and their humans love the results

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 27.5 per week
