Job Description:
As a technical sales graduate you will get exposure to many facets of the organization. This role will undertake field studies of machine performance, utilize software simulation programs and Terex knowledge base to analyze project requirements, accurately select equipment to meet specification, prepare quotations and formal tenders. The role will work across sales, engineering and procurement to manage projects and facilitate sales and marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Recommend the most suitable equipment from the Terex Jaques product portfolio to meet customer requirements.-
- Participate in the maintenance of all Machine Price Lists.- Co-ordinate the provision of sales and technical support materials.- Develop and maintain Enquiries, Machine database.- Develop a sound working relationship with potential customers with the objective of understanding their needs as a way of identifying their equipment requirements.- Provide technical back up and product training to the sales organisation.- Participate in sales promotional activities such as exhibitions under the guidance of the Product Managers- Liaise with broader Terex MP groups where necessary on all issues relating to product pricing, availability, technical aid, warranty and product development.- Together with your Manager maintain records of:
- Enquiries received-
- Quotations and Tenders submitted and outcomes-
- Information about competitors' activities and products-
- Performance of operating machines-
- Customer Call reports-
- Potential Sales Opportunities-
- Customer Contacts & Decision Makers-
- Sales & Engineering documents controlled, distributed and filed.- Collate monthly Sales Report.- Maintain standard sales documentation.- Manage advertising & promotional items.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS- Role will suit a recent graduate with an Engineering or Technical Background- Intermediate computer software operating skills in Microsoft Office- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.- Team player who can work with mínimal supervision and interact with co-workers in a amiable, co-operative and professional manner.- Confident, self-motivated and well organised individual with good analytical and administrative skills.- Talented at collating and analysing marketing data.- Ability to prepare technical and sales documentation.- Proficient at preparing, editing and correcting business correspondence.
