**About the Role**:
This position oversees the VU Career Hub service that supports students' through job coaching, experiential programs and connections to industry. The role blends operational and project work focusing on employment outcomes for VU students and graduates.

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

- Manage the daily functioning of the Career Hub Service and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently to meet student needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of projects and initiatives that aid students in securing employment opportunities, work experiences and internships.
- Create and maintain a talent pool of students by identifying promising students and graduates, fostering their development, and working with the Career Hub team to connect them with relevant opportunities.
- Proactively engage with student communities to promote the service and showcase the value and impact of the Career Hub services in supporting their career and employment aspirations.
- Expertise in a career development, employability or graduate recruitment.
- Ability to deliver employment outcome focused projects from end-to-end, ideally within a dual sector environment
- Proven ability to navigate various communication styles and build strong connections within a diverse team, promoting a cohesive and supportive atmosphere
- Demonstrates practical leadership experience or exhibits strong leadership qualities in various contexts.

This is a full time position at a HEP7 ,$90,891 - $98,385 +17% superannuation, classification working 36.75 hours per week over an fixed term contract period (until 23/12/24).
