Specific Duties
- Reception duties
- Matter creation and maintenance
- Collation of documents for court proceedings
- Creation and amendment of correspondence and court documents under supervision;
- On-line court filing
- Photocopying
- Filing (paper based and digital)
- Trust accounting (paper based and digital)
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- On-line banking
- Issuing invoices and receipts
- Liaison with clients, other parties and courts

Desirable Abilities and Experience
- Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, including active listening and ability to engage others
- Clerical skills such as typing, data entry, record keeping, and filing
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), LEAP and PEXA
- Excellent organisation and time management skills and attention to details
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience as a legal secretary
- Certificate or Diploma in Legal Services or Administration
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Attention to Detail
- Willingness to learn and participate in further training.
