**Role**:
The School Coordination Leader - Daily Organisation is responsible for ensuring that the operations of the school promote and support effective teaching and learning. This includes providing high level advice to the leadership team on all matters related to the implementation of the curriculum, the relevant industrial agreements, and effective management of the school.

The School Coordinator will promote a culture of high expectations for students, staff and parents, and support this by taking a leading role in the implementation of school and Department of Education policies, including the Framework for Improving Student Outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, systems, and processes to ensure the highly effective operation of the school.
- Ensure staffing of classes and the effective implementation of the curriculum on a daily basis.
- Coordinate all arrangements for short term contract replacements of teaching staff including induction of staff and communication with sub schools, Learning Area Leaders, the Staff Development Leader, and relevant members of the leadership team.
- Arrange for the employment of Casual Relief Teachers (CRT) within the allocated budget. Provide professional assistance to CRTs, including orientation of school policy and processes, provision of course outlines and work, and appropriate resources.
- Monitor the implementation of the industrial agreement and provide regular reports to the leadership team and the Advisory Committee.
- Coordinate the preparation, publication, and communication of:

- the annual school calendar and ensure its alignment with term meeting grids.
- special event arrangements such as end of year activities, student assemblies, etc.
- arrangements for parent-teacher interviews, including hiring of interpreters, staff location details, and advice to students and parents.
- staffing of major events such as sport carnivals in conjunction with the Sports Leader or other relevant leaders.
- Monitor records of staff absences and extras allocated and provide regular reports to the Advisory Committee and the leadership team.
- Assume responsibility for communication with staff on all matters related to school coordination and organisation.
- Record and track time in lieu accrued by staff and support the acquittal process.
- Provide support for staff to effectively navigate and use Compass.
- Manage the budget and resources associated with the program.
- Support the work of the School Coordination Leader
- Timetable.
- Oversee the work of the Assistant School Coordinator.
- Any other duties as directed by the Principal.
