**About the role**
As a Pit Builder at Newmont, you will be providing advice on operational changes made in the pit to optimise the autonomous operation and the performance of the trucks within it.

**Your Skills Checklist**
- Previous experience in a Mine Controller, Builder or Pit (Field) Builder position
- Knowledge and proficiency with Autonomous Technology.
- Adaptable, able to multitask and well organised.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Competent communicator.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Mining operator experience.

Key to success will be your ability to deliver safer haulage operations and improved mining productivity, through reducing vehicle interactions and protecting people from operational hazards.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assisting with startup, shutdown and relocation of autonomous trucks as required.
- Coordinating truck movements in the autonomous operations zone.
- Gathering field surveys and validating all mine model changes made in MineStar against the reality.
- Ensuring compliance with the Mine, Company and National Health and Safety Guidelines.
- Identifying maintenance or optimization opportunities.
