Civil Draftsman/woman

Our client, RGB (Rose Garden Buildings) Group provides multiple services in the property development and construction material industries and consists of a number of brands all with the focus of providing a great experience to the clients. With more than 33 years of experience in the group in the construction industry in countries such as Malaysia, UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iran.

Queensland has been their focus area and preferred choice since 2020 with a goal to become one of Queensland’s largest players in the industry by 2030 by investing heavily in multiple real estate sectors such as residential apartments, townhouses and houses as well as commercial buildings, industrial warehouses and land subdivision.

To facilitate RGB's growing projects portfolio, we are hiring experienced Draftspersons.

Key Tasks include:

- Complete preparation of drawings for QLD, including fabrication drawings, layouts, mark-up, and preliminary set-out using AutoCAD
- Reading and interpreting projects provided by customers
- Periodic visits or as needed to monitor ongoing projects, aiming to ensure proper quality and installation with the field team
- Liaise with internal (Sales, Application Engineering, Workshop, Planning) to prepare for delivery and installation
- Conduct post project reviews with customer, document outcomes and suggest
- Review JSA, Safety plans and edit / update as required
- Ensure that project administration, stock control, cost preparation and reviews are completed
- Be primary contact with the customer up to the point of installation at which time the installation supervisor then takes over the I & D on the job
- Review project performance with internal (Sales, AE, Workshops, CA)
- Liaise with engineering on any issues for review
- Knowledge and experience working in the Construction Industry
- Working knowledge of Installation procedures
- Civil engineering diploma or higher qualification
- 2 years or more full-time work experience in related field
