We have a new and exciting opportunity for a P&C generalist to join our team Based in Ballarat, this role will see you support all elements of the employee life cycle including payroll queries, system management, human resource administration, learning and development and safety. Also with the opportunity to grow the role further in the P&C space based on business growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and administer payroll and time and attendance systems.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for payroll queries and resolutions.
- Human Resource administration including management of employee files and onboarding.
- Deliver a range of effective payroll administrative tasks including managing processes, providing services, responding to queries, advising on leave and other payroll related matters.
- Actively deliver ongoing employee rewards and recognition initiatives.
- Support Learning & Development with scheduling of training sessions and events.
- Support the Workcover administration process.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Actively used payroll and employee management systems
- Exposure within the P&C function
- Competent in using Microsoft platforms
- Shows initiative, positive mindset and has a solution focused approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Highly levels of organisation and time management
- Focused on continuous improvement

**Desirable**:

- Understanding of employment legislations, regulations, and Awards
- Demonstrate experience managing matters across the HR life cycle
- Experience with payroll systems ADP and/or Deputy.
- A qualification or diploma in Human Resources or similar - can be suitable for a graduate opportunity or someone wanting to expand the career in the human resources area.
