**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Our Community Support Workers have the rewarding role of caring for people in their homes. Your day-to-day workload will be varied from providing personal care (showering, dressing), meal preparation and domestic duties, to social support, shopping assistance and transport. **ASSESSMENT CENTRE**
We want you We’re looking for Community Support Workers and Domestic Assistants throughout Perth Metro. A caring nature, comfortable of driving and transporting clients and working on your own.
You either have experience working in aged care, community or experience caring responsibilities. Perhaps you would like a career change in helping our elderly community - Traineeships are available *Eligibility applies.
If you have:
- a driver’s licence;
- a vehicle; and
- can attend 2-week paid training.

Our next Assessment Centre is Monday 07 August and Tuesday 22nd of August at Amana Living Training Institute.
**PAID TRAINING**
Our compulsory paid 2-week trainings are held Monday to Friday, from 8am - 4.30pm. Our upcoming training dates are:
- 21 August - 01 September
- 04 September - 15 September

- _ Salary packaging of up to $18,550_
- _ Community support worker pay rate $31.38 - $32.40 per hour depending on certification_
- _ Domestic Assistant role $29.51 per hour_
- _ Travel allowance of $0.85 cents per kilometre for travel between clients, as well as paid travelling time between clients_
- _ Work mobile phone _
- _Industry leading training through our training institute _
- _Discounted private health insurance with HBF and Medibank Private_
- _ Childcare assistance during school holidays_
- _ Traineeships available (Trainees can receive up to $5,000 from the Australian Apprenticeships program. This payment is to help offset the costs of everyday living. *Eligibility apply* CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual support (Home and Community)_
**ROSTER**
Rosters Available are:
- **_Day Shifts_**: 7am - 3pm, 8am - 4pm, 9am - 3pm,
- **_Afternoon shifts_**: 11.30am - 7.30pm, 12pm - 8pm, 2pm - 8pm
However, this does not mean that you will be rostered for work for the full time slots above. You will be available to be rostered for home care services within these time frames, and hours each day will vary.
**FURTHER CRITERIA**
- Able to obtain a National Police Clearance less than 6 months old
- Willing to travel to different suburbs
- Evidence of up-to-date flu vaccination and Covid vaccines
- Pass pre-employment physical assessment and reference checks
- Comprehensive insurance and WA registered vehicle
