The Factory Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities in a more hands on and face-to-face role than the warehouse manager. The Factory Supervisor will be focused on making sure all items are in the correct place and ensuring all employees are returning items to the correct location. The goal is to ensure that stock levels are maintained and that all items are in place, keeping a tidy warehouse.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Training new staff members where relevant
- Answering questions brought forward by other factory workers
- Using own initiative to solve problems and answer questions
- Identifying warehouse system improvements
- Assists with monitoring stock and inventory levels
- Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items
- Tagging and testing, including the tagging and testing process and maintenance
- Maintaining a clean warehouse space
- Adhering to all WH&S rules and regulations
- Forklift maintenance
- Vehicle maintenance
- Loading/unloading trucks and making sure it is done efficiently and quickly
- Managing furniture quality standards and storage
- Presenting ideas for Warehouse layout and work flow systems
- Delegating work to factory crew, while maintaining a hands on approach
- Communicating with factory workers and the warehouse manager and foreman to make sure problems are dealt with efficiently
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and present reports to Warehouse Manager
- On-site construction/installation and de-construction
- Maintaining a clean and organized storeroom and Warehouse
- Managing a scheduled maintenance calendar
- Booking scheduled maintenance for machinery
- Regular quality checks on furniture and reporting any defects to the Warehouse and/or Operations Manager
- Maintaining minimum stock levels set by management
- Checking stock deliveries
- Storage bay layout management

**Experience and Requirements**:

- 5 years experience in Warehousing and/or a similar supervisory role
- An understating/experience of the exhibition fabrication and installation process (preferred)
- Own tools
- Forklift license (required)
- Drivers License (preferred)
- EWP license (preferred)
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong command of English in writing and verbally.

**Reports To**: Warehouse Manager, Foreman, Operations and Production Manager
