General Responsibilities:
- Compliance, control and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist in the coordination of regular audits and inspections (including regulatory and periodic certification audits) to identify potential risks and hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HSE matters, including training programs and awareness campaigns.
- Monitor and assess compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Stay updated on new regulations and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance and operations) to promote a culture of safety and compliance to all required regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSE compliance activities.
- Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and investigate any instances of non-compliance, implement necessary corrective actions with assistance of maintenance and operational teams.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience working in a HSE compliance role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant HSE laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional certifications or qualifications in HSE management will be an advantage.
