Maroondah Council is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join Revenue within the Property, Revenue and Valuation Services Team.

**About the role**

Working as part of a dedicated, friendly, customer focused team, some of your main responsibilities will include:

- Assist with general Revenue Services administration tasks, including the processing of direct debits, refunds, copies of rates notices, returned mail, new or amended waste charge requests.
- Monitoring payment plans through reporting, sending default and cancellation letters where applicable.
- Assist in processing and distribution of invoices, statements and credit/refunds to Debtors using the accounts received system as required.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective performance of the Revenue Team, supporting and learning from the two Senior Revenue Officers.

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience providing high-level customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in Rates, Debt Collection and/ or Accounts Receivable.
- The ability to adapt to a changing work environment, remaining focused on executing a high amount of daily tasks.
- High-level computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Applications. Proven ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Desired experience with rating/ accounts receivable software such as Pathway.
