Nominated Supervisor

**Position details**

The successful applicant will have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire the current team of early childhood staff along with creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with families and the surrounding community. You will coordinate all day to day Centre operations such as admin, health & safety and staff development. This is a maternity leave position with view to a permanent role within Queensland Childcare Services.

**Position requirements**
Suitable applicants must be able to meet the following criteria:

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum)
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Current First Aid, CPR & Asthmas and Anaphylaxis certificate
- Current Blue Card
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director highly regarded

**Our Centre**

**Glasshouse Early Education Centre **islocated on the main road just 450m from the Glasshouse Mountains State School. Our Centre opened in October 2006 and caters for 151 children aged from birth to school age. We offer a huge range of high quality programs for our children such as swimming lessons, music and movement and language opportunities.

The Centre is a part of Queensland Childcare Services who is a privately owned and operated company who has been providing early childhood education in South East Queensland since 1991. Our first and foremost important goal is to inspire delight, curiosity, and inquiry in the classroom. These are the greatest gifts our teachers can give a child.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
