**About the opportunity**

Full-time permanent position based in **Redbank, Brisbane QLD, **commencing 6am/7am Monday to Friday.

The Learning and Development team is accountable for the provision of compliance, operational and technical training across the Australia Post Group.

The responsibility of this Trainer is to deliver training and provide coaching on the job, in the classroom, or virtually. The Trainer will coordinate all the administrative tasks associated with the delivery of training for staff in operational areas using the appropriate technology to enhance business performance. The Trainer will be required to deliver training to staff in facilities and centres across all shifts and should be prepared to work flexible hours Monday to Friday to accommodate to operational needs and priorities. This position may require traveling to other local facilities to coordinate training in line with business requirements.

**About you**

You have a Multi Combination licence, know your way around a cabin, are experienced in training and up-skilling truck drivers, as well as organised, efficient, adaptable, and have a solution-focused attitude. You’re proactive, a good communicator, and eager to get stuff done. You enjoy building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across the business.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Administering training, assessing employees, upskilling employees within the Australia Post transport space to align with business requirements
- Preparing and conducting training sessions either one to one or as a small group: conducting learner assessments, and providing on the job coaching
- Managing information and logistics to support the delivery of training, including the use of current technology for maintaining records, scheduling of training, operational enquiries and adhoc reports
- Delivering compliance, operational and training in a variety of ways, including face to face, virtual, online modules
- Providing feedback to operational Managers to ensure that coaching and development is reinforced through ongoing on the job coaching
- Contributing to training materials by providing input/feedback to new/amended designs when requested and submitting requests for existing material when a need is identified

**What are we looking for**:

- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122 preferable)
- Must have a Heavy Vehicle Licence and be confident and skilled in driving and training in cabins (MC licence preferable)
- Significant experience in delivering training and coaching
- Forklift licence desirable or at least willingness to obtain one on the job
- Intermediate level of proficiency in technology such as MS Office, LMS, Webex, Teams and other related systems and tools
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to gain the cooperation and trust of colleagues
