**The role**

An exciting opportunity exists for a quality driven, hard-working person to join our Concrete Products team in the position of Production Supervisor.

This full time permanent role will see you based at our Campbellfield Masonry Plant, leading the manufacturing process from day one within an organisational culture focussed on continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that operational plans, objectives and area requirements are met to ensure that plant and equipment are operated at optimum cost, highest availability, safely and without environmental impact. Furthermore, you will support the team by ensuring the product produced is of the highest quality.

An attractive remuneration package will be offered, commensurate with skills and experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure operational equipment is of a safe and efficient standard through effective maintenance
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures surrounding operational standards
- Work to reduce operational costs while ensuring products are safely manufactured to the required quality standards
- Batch using computerized system and ensure accuracy of product mix design is used
- Monitor and maintain quality and maintenance systems
- Ensure compliance with, and communication of all health, safety and environment requirements
- Support and develop collaborative relationships with other area teams
- Drive Continuous Improvement within the team
- Ensure efficient plant optimization and promote a positive, driven mindset for the team

**What you will need to succeed**
- Proven experience in a manufacturing, mining or production environment
- Great interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Forklift license is desirable
- An appreciation for building and maintaining effective working relationships
- The ability to work safely and maintain high quality standards
- A positive attitude and ability to lead a team to achieve a common goal
