Cattery Assistant

Meowhaus is one of Melbourne’s newest cat boarding facilities, located in the heart of Brunswick. We’re on the hunt for a casual animal attendant to join our team. We’re looking for a reliable, committed, hard worker who loves animals and is great at charming their humans too

In a typical day, the role involves:

- feeding and cleaning out the cats
- administering medications
- giving individual time to each guest and monitoring how they’re going
- assisting our clients with check ins/outs
- fielding booking enquiries
- keeping the place looking pretty
- available for an immediate start
- looking for ongoing, long-term work (we want our guests and their humans to recognise and trust us, so we keep the team small)
- great at motivating yourself and prioritising what needs doing each day (in quieter times, you’ll be working solo - just you and a bunch of cats. It’s not for everyone, but those that get it, get it)
- fabulous at customer service
- confident with cats. Relevant experience is very favourable, but not required.
- physically fit

- Hours on offer include occasional weekend work, but the days can be tailored to suit the right person. Flexibility to take on different/extra hours during peak periods would be a huge plus

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
