**What you'll be doing**

We are seeking enthusiastic Dental Officers & New Graduates to join our multi-disciplinary team providing clinical services.

You will be located at our newly purpose built modern Oral Health facility within the beautiful rural Nowra town area.

This facility includes eight Dental surgery's as well as enhanced diagnostic tools such as panoramic x-ray facilities and new accessibility equipment to enable the treatment of bariatric patients and users of wheelchairs.

Nowra has beautiful river scenery making this a lovely bustling regional town on the banks of the Shoalhaven River a delightful place to work. Enjoy relaxed cellar doors. museums and galleries, array of restaurants, cafes, shopping centres and a range of outdoor adventures. Nowra is also great base for day-tripping to Berry, Kangaroo Valley and Jervis Bay.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

Successful applicants to the role must provide certified documentation of vaccination history and pathology as part of their recruitment documentation. The applicant must be certified as compliant with Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases before employment can commence.

**Selection Criteria**
- Current registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient care.
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality and abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct in line with prescribed NSW Health policies and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of individuals.
- Proficiency in the use of computer systems including electronic patient records and digital imaging.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement on routine clinical matters.
- Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes. This may involve driving long distances within the Health Service. Evidence of a current Class C drivers licence.
